A small, deliberately cautious range

This is the smallest category we run, and it is small on purpose. Wellness supplements attract more unsupported claims than almost any other product type, and cannabis-adjacent supplements attract more than most. We would rather stock one product we can describe accurately than a shelf of things we cannot.

What CBD is, and what it is not

CBD (cannabidiol) is a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. Unlike THC it is not intoxicating — it does not produce a high, and it will not do what the products in our Flowers or Edibles categories do. People buy the two for entirely different reasons, and confusing them is the most common mistake we see.

Moringa is a separate plant ingredient, unrelated to cannabis, commonly sold as a general dietary supplement in South Africa. A Moringa CBD blend combines the two in capsule form.

We are not going to make health claims

You will find plenty of South African sellers attaching confident claims to CBD products — about sleep, anxiety, pain, inflammation and a good deal else. We are not going to do that, for two reasons.

The first is that we are a cannabis retailer, not a medical provider, and we are not qualified to tell you what any supplement will do for your body. The second is that in South Africa CBD is regulated as a health product, and making medicinal claims about a supplement without the appropriate authorisation is not permitted. Sellers who make those claims anyway are taking a liberty with both the law and with you.

If you are considering CBD for a specific health reason, speak to a pharmacist or doctor first — particularly if you take regular medication, since cannabinoids can interact with a range of prescriptions. That is a genuinely useful conversation and it costs you nothing.

How this differs from the rest of the shop

Everything else we sell is graded THC cannabis intended for adult recreational use, with potency stated in milligrams or percentages. This category is not that. If you arrived here looking for something intoxicating, the categories you want are Edibles, Flowers, Pre-Rolls or THC Vapes. If you arrived looking for a non-intoxicating daily supplement, this is the right page, and it currently has one product on it.

Delivery, collection and payment

Free nationwide shipping applies to orders over R2000. Below that, Pudo economy delivery is R82 and takes three to five working days, and overnight courier is R160. Same-day delivery is Gauteng only. Curbside collection is available at 239 Commissioner Street, Maboneng, Johannesburg, by WhatsApp confirmation before you arrive.
